Keep your Westy outside to avoid moisture causing eventual rust. This unwanted outcome happened to fellow Listee Carl Hansen in MN, when his Syncro was stored in an attached garage. If you do store it ouside, you should use a quality cover that will protect the body while allowing moisture to disipate out ot the atmosphere. Alternately, if you store inside, use a floor plastic tarp which will be fairly impervious to water, and keep the engine door open. It also wouldn't hurt if you sprayed some WD-40 (or equivalent) water repellent lubricant on most of the underbody mechanicals.
