I would recommend just removing the driveshaft. This is much easier than disassembling your other good? CV joint. As Eric mentioned, you cannot just remove the entire CV joint and still drive the vehicle. Be sure to mark the connections so you can re-assemble the shaft in the same orientation. These can be troublesome. Check the archives. JN |
