What magic is happening inside the Idle Stablilizer? I have no idea what it does, but I was able to fix my idle problem, by just cleaning things up. My totaly untutored solution to my idle problem was to: 1. Clean the unit. I used solvent and lint free cloth to clean out all the accumulated muck. 2. Repair the vacuum circut to which it is attached. There was couple of rubber connectors that had developed cracks. I replaced them with jury rigged connectors which look ugly but work properly.
