When I picked up the vehicle he mentioned to me that he was loosing When the cap blew on the distribution unit and was replace by a ketsup lid, I switched to a "bad" zero pressure cap that was along as a spare. The cooling system operated normally for the next 1000 miles of cool weather driving, suggesting coolant pressure is not critical in a cool environment.
