I've read a lot of recent and older traffic regarding tires and shocks and
am having a hard time keeping it all straight - particular when I go
shopping for tires and am faced with all the brands and models. If folks are
interested, I'd be happy to receive mail regarding recommendations for tires
and shocks and then edit and compile all of the comments into a FAQ.


particularly interesting to me are the tires that meet the needs of
vanagons/westys (eg reinforced, etc), size - eg 185's vs 205's and comments
about ride and handling. similar for shocks


I think that I'd like to limit this to stock stuff - eg tires and shocks
that fit on factory or same size wheels and not special mods.


any interest? Maybe someone has already done this?
