I would not like to be negative, but with everything going on this site with coolants, pumps, pressure, hoses, leaks etc etc, I do not know if I would try to install a heater like the one you are mentionning ??? I would do it on a normal car, but... I have always used the ones from the dealer, (cost: around 55.$cdn) and eventhough again, I do not understand why vw engineers never came up with something to perform better ( always thought that germany was also a cold country ), zephyr starts pretty good even at - 30' C ( -22'F ) with good plugs, 5W30 semi syn oil (can tire on sale always) etc etc...one thing I have not install this year is my electric blanket around the battery... well it was nice to hear from you and hope that winnipeg will keep stopping the high winds coming from the rockies, so that they they do not reach quebec !!! happy y2k! pierre a.lachance lac beauport, quebec zephyr weekender 85 green apple beetle 00
