Beetle parts start with 111, 112, 113 or 133 depending on which beetle got it first. The 211 is an older Transporter, the Vanagon parts start with 251. For instance, the headlights on the 86-91 models got 251 for the big unit with the little unit (the high beam) start with 533 since it was first used on European Sciroccos.

I know for sure it was used on A3 Golfs and Jettas, I got mine for a Golf VR6. Just replace the ordinary relay with the adjustable, and you are ready to go!
