Subject: Surging idle on 87GL
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello folks The idle on my new '87 Wolfy (almost) continually surges between 1000-1200 RPM. The surging occurs about once every second or two. Sometimes it stops after it has been running for some time.

I know this problem can be caused on the 83-84 model years by a bad or misadjusted idle switch or a bad idle stabilizer but neither of these are used on the 87 model.

Any suggestions?

Gary
