Thanks for all the advise about my unrequited yearning for a Vanagon.

I still want one, but all the wrench heads I know are chasing me around
with their socket drives and telling me they will never speak to me
again, much less help with my cars if I get a VW. Maybe they are racist,
but there it is.

Maybe in my next life I will meet someone who know how and likes to fix
VW's.
