I am in County Cork, Ireland. I recently bought an 86 synchro in
fairly rough condition
One of the problems is that the front drive shaft on the
left hand side (passenger side) is missing.


I would like to pick up a second hand one but there are very few
synchros in Ireland (I might even have the only one)
So can anyone tell me if the same shaft is on any other vehicle
that might be more widely available


Which leads me to my other question.
Am I likely to do harm by driving with that shaft missing.
Is it better to remove the other front shaft until I find a replacement.
