Subject: Do I need a new tranny?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hey all, My '90 V'gon (w/auto tranny) has been having a problem lately. After it has been sitting for a while (esp. overnight) when I put it in Drive or reverse, take the parking brake off, and put my foot on the gas, the revs go up, but thevan hardly moves. If it was a stick, I'd say it was a slipping clutch, but I don't know much about the inner workings of auto trannies. The tranny fluid was drained and replaced about 4k miles ago. I will be grateful for any insights.

Sean B. '90 V'gon, "Happy Bus"
