The "top" hose on my radiator is fading on me. The bends in this hose are pretty small. Can I just get a length of straight coolant hose of the same diameter, attach one end, guess at the lenght and trim appropriately, and then install the other end? This will of course put some slight - emphasize slight - bends in the hose. Or should I get a "real one", pre-bent with the proper angles?

Thanks for ideas!
