The Syncro custom front spring project is finished and 12 of the buyers
have received their springs. I am very happy with mine and have heard
good reports so far. During this process numerous people asked about
rear springs. Peter B. and I are now considering taking up this project.
The rear springs are a more complicated design and should take more time
and money as I expect that we will need to have a prototype or 2 made
before we can settle on a final design. Before embarking on this quest I
would like to know how many Syncro owners would be interested in
replacement springs slightly stiffer and taller than our used stock
ones. For purposes of this question, assume a cost of $150 per set of 2
rear springs. If we proceed, I hope to have them done in time to use
them for this summer's voyages. This would be a not for profit
enterprise and aimed only at those Syncro owners who already think that
they might have a use for these springs. This is for Syncros only, not 2
WD vanagons.

should be the primary list for discussion of this project. If you do not
