Hello,

My suggestion would be to look for rust anywhere...all the seams, especially the seam right below your water and electrical outlets. You should find out how long ago those heads were done...I would say they need to be changed around every 80k-100k. Find out what the 4000 dollars entailed. Look for leaks on the heads, power steering pump, tranny water system...basically everywhere. Those long water hoses are expensive. Oh a big thing to check are the fans...make sure those are working good and on all speeds. Look for leaks on the rear heater. Check to see how good the tires are.

If you ask me the van sounds a bit pricy; for that much money I would want one in perfect condition...but then again if I had that much cash I would loan some and buy myself a syncro westy.

Hope this helped:) Good luck:)
