John, my Bentley manual (pg. 24.45) has a chart of resistance vs. temperature for the Temp II sender. Your reading of 2800 ohms corresponds to 15 to 20 C (59 to 68 F) whicj is about right for ambient (garage) temperatures (except here in the frigid north). -Larry
