John; The best way to check the TEMPII sensor is with a digital ohm meter. Take the measument first thing in the morning before the vehicle is started. Note the ambient temperature i.e. the engine temperature should have equalized. Remove the connector from the ECU and measure across the appropriate pins(Digijet=2&7, Digifant=6&10). Compare to graph in Bentley manual.

Don't have a Bentley manual? Shame on you but all is not lost. The TempI sensor should have the same resistance as the TempII if they are at the same temperature. The pins at the ECU connector are 14&6 for Digijet and 6&9 for Digifant.
