First, I'd like to thank all those that sent replies to my request for help getting out of digest mode...I ended up signing off and re- subscribing. Anyway, I am back on the list and my vanagon is back as well. It has just returned from a transplant at "Dr." Dennis Haynes'. I would like to thank Dennis and am happy to report that the patient is doing well! Dennis replaced my previously blown up 1.9 with a 2.1. The difference is very noticable, and so far I am happy with my choice. Now I can get to all the goodies that have gone bad in the last 3 years while it sat in storage. If you listen closely, you can hear the money getting sucked out of my wallet! Anyone in the New York (Long Island) area in need of an excellent vanagon mechanic should go see Dennis, he really knows his stuff and did a very thorough and NEAT job and stands behind his work.<shameless plug!> "We" look forward to becoming active list members once again, and traveling to various campouts and shows this coming year.
