My parents had one that they used in their new 68 VW Bus to avoid putting in a gas heater. It didn't work very well for what they were trying to accomplish, so they had to break down and fork over the bucks for the real thing. The bus is long gone, but I still have the heater. Joe 87 GL Weekender
