(Campmobile is what VW called their campers). Sportsmobile did camper conversions in the '70's out of Indiana. they did VW's as well as American vans. i've never seen a Vanagon Sportsmobile, tho. The Sportsmobile tops popped straight up, but had a tube metal style luggage rack in the front, unlike the Westfalia's, and the ASI's fiberglass one. chris |
