Now that there is a good meter of snow on the ground there are more opportunities to actually use my Syncro system. I have been noticing that when I am parked in deep snow, say 20cm of really packed stuff, the van would be stuck if there wasn't four wheel drive. The rear tires will spin and then the front join in in the fun about 1 revolution afterwards. When this happens there is a clicking noise coming from the front end somewhere. I first thought it was a CV joint, but a parking lot "donut test" is quite quiet under there. It seems to be only when the front wheels are spinning this clicking noise occurs. Any suggestions? PS - To all who are out there and question the VC locks with heat - yes it does! Pack it with snow and then try to use it - it does take a little longer to engauge!
