I just received an ad from Fast German Auto claiming that using their 1.25 ratio rockers and power chip will give a 49% horsepower increase at the wheels according to a dyno test at an independent performance shop. All this for only $549. If it didn't sound too good to be true, I'd be writing the check right now. I've heard of the 1.25 ratio rockers before, but not an after market "power chip". What does it do? Does anyone have any experience with either of these products. Even if these claims were true, I suspect there must be a downside in reliability or longevity. What ever happened to the list member that was going to dyno test his vanagon to show the results of his upgrades? Thanks, Kyle Gardella 85 Westy |
