How large is the exchanger? Is there coolant, or oil inside the lines? Are the lines small diameter (1-1.5 cm) or large (2.5+cm)? It sounds like it may be an oil cooler. That is how I routed ours. In my (recently purchased) 81 Westy I found a radiator (heat exchanger) behind the front grill. I traced the hoses back to the engine compartment where the have fittings that are taped over with electrical tape. What is going on, did some one try to put a water-cooled engine in this? Sean |
