What Subi motor was in the Rev.'s van? 2.2? Your post and comments make me want to investigate further. (Like, what's an engine worth here in the wilds of NE Oregon.) BTW, the owner of the famous 'Roadcow' is currently driving a Subaru engined Vanagon. His site has a bunch of photos and commentary on the install. Don't have the URL, but a search on Roadcow will find it.
