I thought of that, but I just put new rubber all the way around,

I can appreciate the hassel of going back to a tire shop, because something doesn't feel right. CV's perhaps could set up a vibration, but here are a few suggestions you didn't address in your email.

Some new tires still fail. I've seen .075 on my cars and still have tire monkeys tell me well, try it, you migh not notice. My van is very noticable to me if they get much over .030.

Lastly and this should be checked first is your rims. That's right, not only do our rims get out of round, but the runout can be off. The rim will look like it wobbles when rotated slowly on the balance machine. Second the tire can also have a runout problem, though I suspect these would be the least likely culprit.

If you dont have a fancy machine, most shops will have a gizmo that allows a dial type indicator to verify an out of round tire. It seems that .050 is a ballpark standard to warrenty a Goodyear.

Lastly the viiberation could be a result from stiiffer tires and your just feeling more of the road surface. I've had a bad shock or marignal shock is better term, give me the feeling that the tire is out of balance.

Hope these suggestions help somewhat.
