Don't know about the rest of the world, but here in Phoenix, my experience
is that most glass shops do not like to install used windshields and will
not warranty the work.  Even if the glass shows no chips, it has stresses
from the previous installation which could eventually cause failure.

 I reinstalled a rear window which one fine day exploded into a zillion tiny
pieces when I closed the front door.  Quite a shock to my poor wife!
