Quite often more is damaged than just the stud or coupler when the shaft comes loose...All that holds the setup together is a circlip. If it comes loose, the shaft will back out on decel after a bit and quite often takes out the support collar on the bell housing. If you had no problems prior to engine removal...Just remove bell housing and repl clip and or collar, assuming mainshaft surfaces are still ok. The diff gets in the way of removing easily but can be rotated & futzed with until you can work the pieces in & out. Good Luck.. Daryl of AA Transaxle, Duvall, Wa.
