Hi Robie,

I purchased a van with hand controls, and donated them since I was not in need of them. I talked with the previous owner about why the cruise control did not work. He replied that the original modification required for the speed control to rendered inoperable, by pulling the fuse.

Check around, with your insurance agent or local Motor Vehicle, this may be a case by case situation. I not sure what the rationale is; but if it's taboo the insurance company may give you hassels in the event of a claim.

Sincerely,

Mark Keller 91 Carat WLE "Lazarus"
