What happened was I meant to reply to an individual as well as the hydro
list, and I accidentally typed the vanagon list's nickname instead of
"hydrolist."


I've read that a vehicle was built that ran off vegetable oil drained
from restaurant kitchens.  It's a diesel engine that's hooked up to this
huge gizmo they pull on a trailer.  I think it's called "The Green
Machine."  It gets terrific mileage and is environmentally friendly with
next to zero emissions.  FYI.
