Of course it was.

We VW bus owners, no matter if it is a 1951 Samba or a 2000 VR6 knows that the most important things in life isn't about getting away from the lights in time. We don't need to be three or thirty seconds earlier at the next red light, we'll catch the Honda, waiting for the same green as us. The only big difference, they'll be waiting longer at each light, while we do our favorite stuff, driving our bus.
