Just make sure the '84 isn't a Wolfsburg edition. They put power steering (and the smaller wheel) on these.

My wife added a big, fuzzy steering wheel cover, and now I can't see anthing from 30 to 70 mph! Oh, well, I just follow traffic or use the GPS speed readout.
