I doubt it to be the latter.

Sometimes something goes of the track in your life, spins completely out of your control, becomes all absorbing and totally distructive, and while you are focused on survival,.....financially, mentally, emotionally, trying to hold your life together...all the dogs and sharks arrive to start tearing at the soon-to-be carcass of an earlier, happier time. Unfortunately, nearly always those who are connected at the time are snared in the mindless flailing that takes place as the drowning man goes under and they suffer, too.

At that point in time, an accumulated lifetime of "Atta Boy"s is totally destroyed by a scant handfull of "Aw Sh*t!"

Unfortunate, but that is the way it works, nearly always.

Takes a looonnnngggggg time to be born again....to get a new life, and you are NEVER the same.

I know, been there, done that.

Can't help but wish the man a better future!
