Bob Powers is parting out a 1993 EV GL in North Hampton, NH. I saw his ad on ePage the other day. http://ep.com/js/mi?ad=342823

This EV had an engine fire, although it sounds like it was the result of a faulty maintenance job, not deteriorating fuel lines. I picked up the power sideview mirrors and floor mats. The van has already had the rear bench seats pulled, but there are still lots of usable parts: front seats, body panels, interior panels, side and rear window glass, steel wheels, dash switches, etc. I didn't even bother to look at what remained of the engine or tranny.

Bob was awfully nice. He runs a sales and service shop on US 1 that seems to focus on Vanagons. He had a Westy, Westy Syncro and early Vanagon on the lot, plus several (5-6) Vanagon parts cars. You can reach Bob at Powers Motor Company, 603-964-7377 or BPPMC@aol.com.

Contact Bob, not me. I have no connection to Bob, other than today's transaction, so this is no endorsement. I'm simply passing on the info in case others are interested in finding used parts. Your mileage may vary, always wear your seat belts, yadda, yadda, yadda.
