I don't have the exact location handy but if you make it as far as the El
Granada/Half Moon Bay Area (approx. 30 mi. south of SF), there is a public
overnight parking area on Highway 1 right at the beach in El Granada. Good
surfing, nice beach but kinda chilly right now.


I bit further up north, still on Highway 1, a similar area is offered in
Pacifica.


Perhaps another Bay Area list member can give you more exact directions.
pmail me if you need local info for the area. Specifically, from San
Francisco to about 45 minutes south. Anything beyond that is beyond my area
of familiarity.
