These are the European specifications lamps, which are sought after in the US because they give much better light, especially the low beams, than the sealed beams. They are also rare, because it is a Vanagon specific lamp, that no other car uses. The round style is cheap and available, but the square style is rare and expensive. Here in Norway, they cost $120 each, at the dealer.
