Without: (1) using an after-market kit, (2) making the van look 'un-stock' (3) ever dealing with FatGermanAuto, is there a way to lower my 1982?

i.e., Can I just buy the later model springs, and lower it by installing those? or does it mean different shocks, and numerous suspension adjustments? Could some "wish my van was higher" person make use of these springs, and I use their shorter ones?

Try www.fastgermanauto.com they have some lowering kits but they might not be for you? Looks like the market for these kits were aimed at "lowriders".
