Sean,

Are you parking on an angle? Mine was parked on an 11 degree angle and would do this too. I ask an inlaw who rebuilds xsmn. He said that the oil in the torque converter can on some xsmns leak back into the xsmn pan, when the vehicle isn't parked on relatively level ground. He said that the momentary "slippage" occurs while the xsmn "refills the torque converter.

This may not be your problem. But if you park on an angle I would consider changing your location and see if the problem goes away.
