Have a spring or frame and wheel shop cut off a half turn or so.  Use a
spring shop so some gorilla doesn't use a torch and ruin the spring.

Sure, but get them out of a junk yard.  Other suspension parts should
work fine, but have the alignment checked.

Sell/trade them to someone who has done the Subaru conversion so they
can keep their oil pan from dragging on the ground!
