Miguel; I made an interesting observation last summer whilst repairing an automotive air conditioning unit. Conditioned air will register a cooler temperature (on a vent mounted thermostat) with a medium fan setting as apposed to a high fan setting. My theory is the evaporator can only remove X amount of heat per cubic unit. The more hot air you force over the coils the less they will cool. I bet the opposite is true about heater cores. Try a medium setting on the defrost fan and see if the output temp is higher. Also note that on some models the fan moves cold air from the outside directly to the fresh air vents.
