I would like to thank Daryl of AA transaxle in Duvall, WA. for pointing me to the cause of the rough running, poor gas mileage and gas in the intake boot of the 2.0 inline in my 82 Westfalia. He suggested that I inspect the fuel pressure regulator (Digifant ll. removed it today, tilted it upside down, and gas flowed out the vacuum side. In 15 minutes the replacement was installed, and the problems are gone! Where would I be without you, the Vanagon list, or how much would it cost if I had to pay? Thanks!
