I've found a couple that sound good but am now very wary of engines that have "minor" leaks involving the coolant and/or oil seals after reading many of your posts. If it is appropriate or the list is interested I would like to post one or two responses I've had and get your opinions. By the way, I have found NO vanagon campers at all, in the state of Iowa and will have to travel to go and buy one, in addition to not being rich. Thanks, Katy Legacy Farm Iowa>> Katy, I don't know what your budget is, but I would recommend a EuroVan. You may be able to find a rare Westfalia, which I believe was only offered as a full camper here in the US in '93. Or you could find the EuroVan camper offered by Winnebago which was a '95, '97, '99 and '2000 models. There have been several for sale recently on the EuroVan mailing list on Egroups. (www.egroups.com) search for EuroVan. EuroVans up until '96 have the 5 cylinder extremely reliable Audi motor. In '96 VW went to a peppy 6 cylinder.
