Air-cooled, right? On the front (FIF) left hand top of the engine you'll probably see a single wire that disappears into the cooling shroud. Right over the top of cylinder #3. On the other end of the wire is the notorious 'temp sensor #2'. If it has loosened up a bit or if it has failed it will give you an extreme rich condition. Takes a 14mm as I remember.
