This is an option that might be available. Right now the amount of damage to the van is slightly below the amount necessary to total it. The claim has been left open-ended and as work is performed and more damage is found, the new damage will be added to the total. Eventually the amount of new damage might drive the claim over the amount necessary to total the van. The unfortunate part is a Catch 22...it can't be totaled until its repaired. Ric |
