First of all I would like to say "Amen" to Yahi's earlier rant against the anti-vanagon sentiment put forth in VW Trends. As a person that not only owns Vanagons but has them as a business, I get this attitude all the time so I am used to it. Besides, these guys are used to driving hopped up Bugs and Golfs, so they really aren't Vanagon drivers anyway (anything that doesn't buzz or have an intercooler, is foreign to them). As for Eurospec, I think it is funny that they had another article on them (is it the same as the first one, just reprinted?). They obviously have a friend at VW Trends to get such nice free advertising once a year. Especially on a product that no longer exsists. I think if they took a look at Peter's conversion kit, they would be drooling. I mean his kit looks the sweetest of all of them (factory kit looks factory). But he doesn't have a friend at the mag so he doesn't get a story (or even a mention). Politics has alot to do with what gets printed. Finally, yes, the Eurospec kit is no more. If folks are still selling it that means that they must have bought several kits at a time to get a better deal and are still working out of the stock. If they don't tell you it is Kaput that is because they don't want you to wonder why (they want to sell all of the kits they have left).
