My '81 air cooled has far more heat than we need. It will drive us out. The air coming out of the vents is hot enough that if you hold your hand in front of it for a few seconds, it hurts.

I have three water cooled vehicles and the one air cooled Vanagon. The heater in the Vanagon works as well or better than the water cooleds. The only real difference is that the Vanagon provides heat a lot faster. I don't have to wait for the whole engine to warm up. Exhaust pipes get hot in a hurry.

After that your water-cooled will feal absolutely tropical. > Bill (SE Arizona) (Bill@freeholder.com) HTTP://www.freeholder.com ---------------------------------------------------------- Censorship is the assassination of ideas. No matter how well-meaning its proponents may be, they are more dangerous to us than any outside enemy.
