I just replaced mine on my '91 2.1 The problem was that in my old throttle body the butterfly is hinged on some kind of plastic/nylon shaft that goes all the way through to the throttle switch. this shaft wore out, and the butterfly started catching on the inside of the TB and made a groove in there and started binding up. The replacement I got from a kind list member has a metal shaft going all the way through. I can only guess that the people with problems have the plastic/nylon shaft instead of a metal one. -could be wrong though.. Dave, 91 westy, Napa, CA
