As an aircooled owner I sometimes believe this to be in fact the
watercooled list, since at least 90% of the correspondence seems to be
about these models, the only (I think) vehicle to ever blow an engine
during a Road&Track magazine long-term test (4/'85).  This is not a
complaint about this great list, just an observation.  Probably, in
fact, the larger percentage of Vanagons built were watercooled.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
