Yes, it's over. I finally gave up and traded in the Syncro. It was getting to the point where I was spending too much time and too much money to keep it on the road. It is currently at Apple Valley Ford in Apple Valley, Minnesota. I don't have the phone number off hand but can get it. This also leaves me with somethings that I no longer need.

Things such as:

1. Syncro transmission with locking diff 2. Universal joint for a Syncro steering column 3. Four plastic full wheel covers (one with chip) 4. Bentley manual

I also have the cylinder head repair kit that I am going to try to return to Burnsville VW. I will be entertaining offers on any or all of the above. Please p-mail me if interested.

I really tried to make it work but it was getting to the point that just about every family event was either canceled or postponed due to repairs on the Syncro. I've even had to take off work to due repairs. It was just getting to be too much.

I was really sorry to see it go. I feel like I am missing a part of me.
