A few years back, there was a post from someone about how they had used a good quality D.C. fan that they bought at a truck stop that the mounted to a long narrow slender board or plexiglass and slipped this construction in between the upper bunk mattress sections so that the fan was hanging down in front of the AC vent openings. Then, he ran the wiring to the Aux. heater and disconnected the power from the heater and connected to the fan wire. I believe the ground wire was secured near by. With this arrangement, he could operate the fan from the Aux. heater switch up front. He said that this increased the air flow and made a big difference. He also admitted that it wasn't the most charming arrangement. But, if you're hot and don't have any other solution, it should do nicely.
