Hello happy campers!

A buddy of mine who owns a local VW repair shop is parting-out a 1982 aircooled Westy. The only thing usable I can think of si the poptop. I was going to buy the thing but I realized that the work is more involved than I am willing to undertake at this time. He's asking $150. The local salvage yards here are asking around $350-450 for just the top.

This thing comes with the roof, bunk bed, all the hardware plus the bonus partially ripped canvas top. J/K. The canvas is not too great but can be patched at the sides where they fold. The bed looks clean. Headliner vinyl will need replacement. Everything else looks like it's there. It's grubby but seems pretty cheap to me.

Let me know if any of you are interested. I'd have you call directly but the new parts guy at the place will want a lot more than the price I was quoted.

Oh yeah, headlights are OK. Everything else is either gone or crap. Front bumper is close to being perfect. Has minor dip on top.
