Subject: Complete axle shafts!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I have obtained an excellent deal on a small quantity of complete Lobro original-equipment axle shafts, with CV joints and boots attached. This is the entire half-shaft (you need two per vehicle if you're replacing both sides), with the CV joint and boot already installed on each end. All you do is remove the bolts on your old shaft, replace it with this one, and you're done. No mess, no hassle.

The price is $139.95 each with listmember discount (plus shipping). Volkswagen's price is $375 each for the identical item. I have only 10 pieces (5 pair), with no more coming. This was a closeout and is below the Lobro importer's cost. He's been trying to sell them to me for a month at his cost, and I held firm on my price until he finally (reluctantly) agreed to take a loss on them. (I'm practically his only Vanagon customer so I knew I had the upper hand. :-) They fit all Vanagons with manual transmissions (including rear on Syncro). They are brand new, not rebuilt.

Part number is 251 501 203G. It will be on the website tomorrow (unless all are claimed by then), or of course you can call or e-mail. First come, first served. If you order via the website the price will come up a bit higher; don't worry, just specify in the "comments" section that you are a list member and you'll get the $139 price.
